Pineapple-Orange Sunshine Cake




The orange pineapple cake is a light fruity cake with an island twist. You will love our delicious whipped cream! This is the perfect dessert to bring to food and parties.


This cake is the perfect dessert for summer gatherings with family and friends. Our dear friend, Mary Alice, brought us this cake and we loved it so much and I had to get the recipe.


We've had it multiple times since then, and it always turns out great every time! It is very light and fruity. This is a versatile recipe that can be prepared in a number of ways.


+ Cake ingredients:


° 1 box yellow cake mixed with milk

° 1 (11 ounces) mandarin oranges, including juice

° ½ cup of oil

° 4 large eggs


* Direction :


Combine cake batter, orange (including juice) and oil; Blending on medium speed to mixed. Adding eggs, also beat well after every addition. Pour batter to a 9  13  prepared  skillet or you can use 9 '' round or square trays. Baking about 21 min in an oven at 350 degrees. Cool on shelf when you prepared decorations.


+ Frosting ingredients :


° One package of Jello No Bake Cheesecake Mix

° 1 can (20 ounces) crushed pineapple, including juice

° 1 cup sour cream

° 1 container (16 oz) Cool Whip


* Direction :


Empty cheesecake mixture in a bowl. Add crushed pineapple (including juice) and sour cream; Combine To all ingredients are blended . Adding a cold beat and stirring to  the cheesecake mixture. Freeze a cold cake completely. This cake is best if it is prepared the day before you plan to serve. Keep refrigerated
