Eggnog Bread - This easy, quick toast with sweet mug's glaze is a Christmas favorite.
We eat about four gallons a week. Caleb and Maxwell are the smallest of the milk sectors. That day we were in the store and Caleb saw the eggnog. He told Maxwell it was Santa Claus's special milk because it's only available in stores around Christmas time. When we got back home, I poured them a small cup and decided to make some bread with Santa's Special Milk. I made a loaf of Eggnog bread with a sweet syrup glaze and I think Santa would approve .
To be honest, I'm not a big mogul guy. I like the flavor, but I don't like drinking it. This is why baked eggnog is perfect for me. Get all the delicious flavor in a special baked treat!
There is eggnog in bread that gives the bread a lot of flavor and also keeps it super moist. I also add nutmeg, vanilla and rum extract.
Because on the holidays, I added a sweet syrup polish. The glaze makes the baking more beautiful and festive! We all go during the most holiday months.
This mogul fast bread is great for breakfast, snack or dessert time. And guess what? I think bread is better on the second day, so you can prepare it in advance. It's great to have a place to serve up friends who might stop by or guests who will be staying with you. It will also be a great gift, the little egg loaves will be so adorable!
