Dump And Bake Your Way To A Fantastic Meatball Casserole

You may know by now that I love and bake a casserole dish, but this dish is almost too good to be true. Like the other versions out there, there's no need to pre-cook - you just toss all of your ingredients, stir them, put everything in the oven, and your work is done. This unpacking and baking is no different ... except that it includes the meatballs! Sprinkle curly pasta and lots of cheese. (And yes, I meant it when I said no to pre-cooking.)

How does this work ?  Along with some pasta (we used cavatape), some marinara, parmesan and mozzarella cheese, they make a delicious dish that soothes the taste buds like a soul.

Meatballs do not need to be defrosted. You don't need to burn them. Simply mix it with pasta, sauce, and a little water and bake until pasta is soft. They cook well in the sauce and absorb some of the tomato flavor (and so does the pasta).

Then cover with cheese and put it in the oven again until the cheese melts and becomes bubbles. Then you eat. Thats all about it. You don't even have to boil the noodles!

* Ingredients:

° 1 kg Ground meat.

° 150 g chopped onion.

° 1 teaspoon minced garlic (15 ml)

° 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin (3 ml)

° 2 teaspoons chopped parsley (30 ml)

° 2 teaspoons of oil (30 ml)

° 3 teaspoons butter (45 ml)

° salt and pepper

* Preparation:

1. Chop the onion roughly. Then add the meat, onion, parsley, garlic, salt, pepper and cumin and mix everything well.

2. Then shape this mixture into balls.

3- In a casserole dish, heat the butter and oil and stir the meatballs for 15 minutes, turning them occasionally.

4- Serve hot beef meatballs and serve with couscous in butter or white rice.
