Kentucky Kopikat biscuit is a delicious and super simple side dish for any meal of the day ! They are easy to prepare and perfect for meals all year round! Personally, I deal with a nice hot biscuit on a cold winter morning during the holidays, but the best thing about this biscuit is that it's so easy, you can have it whenever you want!

 

I'm a big sucker for breakfast, it's actually my favorite meal of the day. My favorite is the biscuits and gravy with sausage and eggs ! Yum.  I mean check out unstable layers.

 

* Ingredients :

 

° All-purpose white flour - 2 cups

 

° baking powder - 1 tbsp

 

° Sodium bicarbonate - half a teaspoon

 

° Caster sugar - a tablespoon

 

° Salt - a teaspoon

 

Margarine - half a cup

 

° Cold liquid milk - a cup

 

* The method of work:

 

1- Preheat the oven at 200 ° C.

 

2- Cover the plate with parchment paper or grease it with butter and set it aside.

 

3- In a large bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, baking soda and sugar salt.

 

4- Add the ghee over the dry ingredients and rub your hands gently with your fingertips until well combined and you get a crumb-like mixture.

 

5- Pour in the yogurt and knead with your fingertips with a slight movement until the flour disappears completely and you get a soft dough

 

6- Roll the dough with a roll on a floured surface to get a 1 cm thick dough.

 

7- Cut the dough with a cookie cutter or a round cup.

 

8- Spread the pieces inside the tray.

 

9- Rub her face with a little liquid milk with a brush.

 

10- Place the tray in the oven for 10 minutes. Taking it out & serving totally .
