Ruth’s Grandma’s Pie Crust!




This recipe is over 100 years old. My sister-in-law's grandmother said it was a recipe that did not fail. It's the best I've ever had.


* Ingredients :


+ For the pie:


° 2 tablespoons of sunflower oil


° 2 tablespoons of milk


° 2 tablespoons of sugar


° 100g very fine semi-salted butter


° 1 egg yolk


° 200 g flour


* Preparation:


In a bowl, mix the oil, milk, and sugar together


Add the butter and egg yolk and beat again until you get a smooth mass


Then add the flour until we get a soft dough


Wash the dough and let it rest for at least two hours in the refrigerator


Just use it as per your inspiration and spread it with your hand or with a cylinder
