Snowball Cookies



5 stars recipe !! This recipe needs only simple ingredients that you probably have hanging around in your pantry already & they have a wonderful buttery, nutty texture. Fun fact, don't eat these crumbly, sweet cookies while wearing your Sunday best !! What I like about this recipe is that anyone can make these holiday favorites !!


- Softened Butter: 1 cup 

- Powdered sugar: 1/2 cup 

- Vanilla: 2 teaspoons 

- All-purpose flour: 2 cups 

- Salt: 1/4 teaspoon 

- Pecans: 1 cup (chopped)

- Powdered sugar

* This yields about 30 cookies


1. To start with, blend softened butter with powdered sugar then add vanilla.

2. Make sure to mix in salt, flour and chopped pecans.

3. The dough needs to be formed into 1 inch balls or flattened cookies at this stage. And please place on an ungreased cookie sheet.

4. Now, you can bake in a 325 degree oven for approximately 20 minutes. 

5. You'd best roll cookies in powdered sugar while they’re still warm but cool enough to touch.

6. And finally, permit cooled and roll again in powdered sugar.
