In 2016, a quarter of 1970 was listed on eBay for $ 35,000. At first glance, it might seem like one of those weird things people do see if anyone is actually going to buy it. After all, value is determined by what someone will pay for something, right ?
However, the coin had 20 interested bidders and was sold at the asking price of $ 35,000. The big question is why? And are there more neighborhoods that are worth much more than they appear to be?
According to an article published in Womenís World, there are a limited number of 1970 coins that were accidentally printed in a 1941 Canadian quarter! Once you know what to look for, you can actually see the printed error.
