Southern Fried Chicken Batter



This classic Southern chicken recipe is crunchy and crusty on the outside and juicy and flavorful on the inside and did I mention?  It is very simple to make !!


– Egg: two large (beaten)

– Milk: one C.

– Paprika: two tsp

– Poultry seasoning: half tsp

– Garlic salt: four tsp

– Black pepper: two tsp

– All-purpose flour: two C. 


1. First, you're going to get a bowl and beat in together the egg and milk.

2. You'll want to combine together the flour with the garlic salt, pepper, poultry seasoning and paprika in a big plastic bag.

3. Immediately put the chicken in the bag. And please seal it and shake to coat it.

4. Now the flour-coated chicken should be dipped in the egg mixture and again in the flour mixture.

5. After that, pick a skillet and heat in the oil to 365 degrees F then brown the chicken on all sides in the hot oil.

6. The last step is to turn the heat down to medium low, making sure to give the chicken for further half hour, or until it is cooked through.

7. To finish, drain it on paper towels and serve & ENJOY !!!
